American values vs Puritan values

One of the American values was bassically about worshiping god. America (ussually) is very big on religion and god and stuff. "One Nation under God". Thats probably one of americas biggest values. It is also most definitaly the Puritans biggest value. Their whole life is based off god. They were so big on god and religion that they left their home land to worship the way they wanted to.
