The quakers and the puritans both valued the future of the country. Every desision they made was based apon what will happen in the future. Todays americans value the future too. The puritans and quakers worked for their later ancestors. Parents still work hard for their kids. Also we can see that we care for our futur america because we are trying to keep the earth clean and green. people study hard to get into a good school to raise a good family. Back then they would work real hard and have strict values so their decendants will have a good base for a family.
