I think that the newer Americans and the Puritans had allot in common. One thing tho is that having a hard work ethnic is very important to us and the Puritans. It is important because with the Puritans if they didn't work hard they would have died and wouldn't of lasted very long on their new found land. Also if they didn't work hard to fight off the English church and escape they would still have to be following the rules back in England. Also if the Puritans didn't work hard they would have been easily killed by all of the Indians that surrounded their villages. If America didn't have a hard work ethnic then we would have lost the war in Iraq already and America would have been taken over by some other weak foreign country. That is why i think having a good work ethnic is important to us and the puritans.
