Time and Control

Hello, and good evening American studies blog. Today, through out the day, I was pondering what Dominant American Value to write about. As for all of the values, I personally thought that Time and Control was the most obvious one to write about. As the school day crawled on, I brain stormed some good comparisons to use. The puritans liked to be in control. It's their way, or the high way. I feel that control in some american house holds is the way to a prosporus lifestyle. Planing out day to day activites, and keeping a close watch over all the little detailes in your life, are all controling the way a single person in a family would live. In the puritans, there was no freedom of worship, let alone much freedom at all. The puritans controlled their childrens lives, and most of all, their religion. If you didnt like what the Puritans were saying, take a hike, go be banished, and become one with the wilderness.

Me personally, havent read the bible cover to cover, but i know they talk about time in there. They just have too. The puritans main focus coming to the United States was survival, set aside from being the controlling freeks the puritans were, no offence, and no offence taken (speeking for all the dead puritans), but with the survival, there was no time to dilly dattle in, well, anywhere. Time was spent in worship, farming, and just getting the bare esentuals to live and raze a family.

Have a wonderfull evening. I'm curently listing to Benny Benassi Rock 'n' Rave CD. Its a wonderful CD. So, with that being said, Gute Nacht, und ich werde sehst alle die studenterin morgan! Tschüs!!
