Puritan Values

I think that the puritans express the value of directness, openness, and honesty. Their main issue in England was that people weren't practicing their religion like they wanted. The first thing they did was flat out tell the church how they felt. They were direct and honest about their opinion and came straight to America when things didn't go their way. Once they got to America they were still direct and open about their opinions. If someone said something that they didn't agree with, they made sure that person was punished.
