Change is definitely something that are valued today and back in the puritans and Quakers day. Change was valued back then because they wanted to be different from the Church of
England. They thought that the church was not strict enough so they moved away. The same could work today if someone does not like the community they can move to go somewhere better for them. This is something everyone values is that we are able to change. This is what i believe was the most interesting and the most true about what is considered an American value back then and today.
