I think the puritans were action and work orientated because all they had time for was to got to church and work. When the puritans came to America they had to fight for survival. To survive all the puritans could do was get food and build shelter for their family. Also when they came to America they thought all the land was theirs. They would fight with all the Indians for their land. The puritans were not willing to share with the Indians.
