The biggest Puritan value that stands out to me is change. The Puritans weren't happy with the way the Church of England was running it's business, so they decided to change that. They tried to change it to the way they wanted, but they failed, so they decided to change where they did their business. They left England for America. Once they got here, they had to change the way they lived in order to survive. Once that became easy, they tried to change the Native Americans religion to their own, but that didn't work. Then, the Puritans tried to change their surroundings by driving the Native Americans out. Then everyone realized that being a Puritan sucked and they changed the way they ran their lives.
