The Puritans Directness, Openness, & Honesty

The Puritans were one of the honest groups in american history. They told everyone what the expectations were and how everyone was going to live their life if you didn't want to get killed. They were too honesty and direct which caused them to be viewed as disrespectful to many people. Not only were they disrespectful, but they were also very controlling. Their religion was a big part of their life which caused many problems throughout their group of Puritans. They were very direct in which they had to follow the bible with exactly what it said and telling people they have to honor God all of the time. The Puritans also were honest with the Native Americans by telling them it's our land and kicking them out of certain areas. They thought they could get away with anything and they basically did because not a lot of people could stop them. That's what makes the Puritans known for their religious views and their crazy rules about living your life.
