The Puritans.

The dominant American value that the Puritans used the most was the action/work orientation value. The Puritans worked very hard in everything they did. From the very beginning the Puritans worked hard to create a successful colony. They spend a lot of time working on their homes and expanding their colony. The Puritans spend a lot of time and work on setting rules for everyone and making sure that everyone was following them. Even though the Puritans were very strict and not so nice, they still worked very hard to accomplish what they did.
