I believe the best quality that the puritans possessed was their determination. From the start of when they immigrated from England to the time that they arrived in America they were determined to achieve freedom of religion. They were determined to keep their strong beliefs of practicing their religion, and to do that they had to fight for not only survival and setting up a good colony but fighting the Native Americans as well. All these actions that were taken by the puritans were achieved by strong determination. And because they were successful I think this was their strongest characteristic.
