Quaker Values.
One american value that we have as americans is "freedom". I think this played an important role in the lives of Quakers. This is because freedom changed the way things ran through government, because the Quakers view of it was less intense and laid back than the way the puritans saw it. The puritans believed that freedom still had strict boundaries. Boundaries so strict, where basically it was the exact opposite as freedom. The Quakers saw freedom of a chance to create your own life, by the way YOU want to run it. Believing in anything you want, acting any way you want, and attending the events you WANT to attend. In the long run, the Quakers were right about the way they thought they should run their life, because they were popular by association. Things were easier for them when it came to learning the new land and how to grow crops and survive there, because they were nice and didn't look down on the indians. They viewed them as friends. Because of this good association, things started running faster in new england.
