Over the past several days, we have discussed two important religious groups in early colonial America: the Puritans and the Quakers. Use what you have learned about them, as well as the dominant American values that we discussed at the beginning of the school year, to answer the following question:
Some of today's American values date all the way back to the Puritans and Quakers! Choose one American value that we discussed, and explain in a paragraph (at least 6 sentences) how it played an important role in the lives of either the Puritans or the Quakers.
Remember, your entry should be written in complete sentences and follow proper grammar rules! All entries must be submitted by Friday, September 12th at 7:30 AM! Be prepared to discuss your ideas in class.
